 Mission

The Department aims at providing qualitative skill oriented education in order to prepare the students and make them fit and eligible for the present day requirements of the society. Our goal is to teach students how to think statistically, how to appropriately apply useful statistical techniques in the various fields like banking, agriculture, medical, etc.  

         By offering a comprehensive  curriculum,  the department develops students to tackle real-world problems and make informed data driven decisions. The faculty members of the department have adapted various globally acceptable methods of teaching/learning such as project-based learning in addition to the regular chalk and talk method. This helps students to enhance the ability of active learning and improve their soft skills.
